IKEA

http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/categories/rooms/kitchen/10502

IKEA offers the Rensig dishwasher. This dishwasher is manufactured by Whirlpool according to a design from IKEA in Sweden. I went to IKEA to see the dishwasher. It is basic but absolutely acceptable for my needs. [Description of the warranty goes here].

If you have an IKEA credit card you can negotiate credit with IKEA. I could also charge this purchase to another credit card. They told me the interest for 6 months would be $2.99 or sometimes no interest but at the price of $269, I can easily pay cash for this dishwasher.

Usually IKEA offers very good warranties. In this case, the warranty is an arrangement between Whirlpool and IKEA and you get only a one year warranty. If you want a longer warranty, you must buy it from Whirlpool.

Corbeil

I bought a fridge and an oven already from Corbeil. I applied for the Accord D plan. I paid taxes and also an extra amount for 5 year guarantee. The period of equal monthly payments was not 36 months, it was 24 months.

The most basic model at Corbeil costs over $400. I would have to pay for it over 6 months.

Brault et Martineau

http://www.braultetmartineau.com/fr/page/financement/

Brault et Martinau claims that we can buy anything we want and in this store we can pay in 36 months with no interest. However, they always finish their advertisement by saying that full details are available in the store. In fact we don't need to go to the store; by clicking the above link we discover that there are a great many restrictions on how this policy will be applied.

There is a minimum purchase required of $499 before taxes for electronic products; of $799 before taxes for furniture, mattress, decoration accessories and household appliances except for selected items.

The period of equal monthly payments depends on the purchase price. For example, it could be from 3 to 36 months.

The guarantee usually is for one year, which means that we have to pay more to have a longer guarantee and that costs at least $99.

When they say there is no delivery fee, there really is no delivery fee.

Conclusion

By experience, I have learned to look well before buying something that I need. I am going to buy my dishwasher from IKEA. At $269. I can pay cash. No other store offer would tempt me to pay the extra money to buy from them.

In conclusion, the stores say you don't pay a cent for financing, but what I found was they have not a dishwasher at $269. At Brault et Martineau and Corbeil, I could not find a dishwasher at the same price as IKEA.
